Overview

This Privacy Policy applies to PDFPrime services operated by techiComm, including the PDFPrime website, mobile applications, APIs, account services, AI writing tools and file-processing features (together, the “Services”).

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: name, email address, password hash, profile information and authentication identifiers.
• Files and tool inputs: documents, images, text, selected settings and output names required to perform the task you request.
• Support information: your name, email, topic, subject, message and related correspondence when you contact us.
• Payment information: plan, transaction reference, billing status and subscription dates. Payment card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by PDFPrime.

Information collected automatically

• Device type, browser, operating system, app version, language and user-agent information.
• IP address or a protected hash derived from it, timestamps, request identifiers and security logs.
• Feature usage, processing status, file size and type, error reports and account quota usage.
• Cookies or similar technologies needed for sessions, preferences, security and service analytics.

How we handle your files

When you upload a file, PDFPrime temporarily stores it in protected job storage to complete the conversion, editing, compression, OCR or other operation you selected. Generated outputs may remain available in your document history for up to 24 hours so you can download them.

Some tools work entirely on your device. For example, data entered in the QR code generator is processed locally in your browser or mobile app and is not uploaded to PDFPrime unless the interface clearly states otherwise.

AI writing requests are sent to the AI processing system configured for PDFPrime. Do not submit passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers or other highly sensitive information in AI prompts.

How we use information

We use information to:

• create and maintain accounts, authenticate users and keep sessions secure;
• process files, generate requested outputs and provide download access;
• operate subscriptions, quotas, payments and account history;
• respond to support, billing, business and privacy requests;
• detect abuse, investigate errors, enforce limits and protect the Services;
• measure performance and improve reliability, accessibility and user experience; and
• comply with applicable law and valid legal requests.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers only when necessary to operate the Services, including:

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the Services, or as part of a merger, financing or transfer of the business. Any successor would remain subject to this policy for previously collected information unless you are notified otherwise.

Data retention

Backups may retain protected copies for a limited additional period before automatic rotation. We may retain minimal records where required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, accounting or legal compliance.

Security

PDFPrime uses administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. These include HTTPS encryption in transit, password hashing, restricted job storage, randomized identifiers, signed downloads, access controls, rate limiting and automatic file cleanup.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of certain personal information. You can also:

• review and update available account information from your profile;
• sign out to revoke the current session or request account deletion;
• manage optional cookies through browser or device controls; and
• contact us to make a privacy request.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention and record-keeping purposes.

Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live. Where applicable, we use reasonable safeguards intended to protect information consistently with this policy and applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our Services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy here and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
